The WA Forestry Industry ships forest products all over the world, from ports located in Albany and Bunbury.

The industry in Albany specialises in exporting woodchips produced from Bluegum for use in high quality paper manufacturing. The timber is processed through a purpose-built static woodchip mill, transported by rail to the Albany port and shipped to Japan and other markets around the world.

Bluegum plantation timber is similarly processed and exported as woodchips at Bunbury Port to international markets.
